“The Self-Help Section” by Vivian Underhill

Can I be blamed,

if sadness curls around me

purring

and licking its whiskers?

I don’t fucking want sadness

Though I suppose it’s good

For poets

Eat me, please

Lick my bones clean and then –

Tell me,

What messages do you find

In the teeth marks of others?
