“To Fast” by Luke Benser

An exhausted jogger
Runs along the main street
Of a small town

As a fantasy red viper flies past
Him going faster that he could
Imagine going
Thinking to himself, wishing he was
In that car instead of running.

He looks down cause his feet
Began to get hotter and hotter
He sees low profile tires spinning
At fast rates
Going to pinch himself he realizes that
His arms have turned into side doors
Trying to mumble questions to himself
Only load revs from the huge engine sound
He's free, going too fast for anyone to see him.
