“All Day Along” by Durlabh Singh

All day along
The wind has been
Whispering to me
To explore
The leaning buds
On the stony floors.

Instructing me
To burst forth
Into some nascent song
Beyond things explored
Dowering of a melody
From nightingale's throat
An incentive to gravity
Or soul stirred brevity.

When the twilight spies
In a hidden scry
And the passions slips
Into a sudden grip
Then the complacency tries
To gather depths of night.
