where will you be the day that you see
the smiles and the laughter you missed out on in me
the hug that i gave you when your sky crashed in
the night where we lay side by side as you talked and talked and i listened
the calls that i made to you just because
the love that i gave cause you were the one
how safe you felt lying there sated in my arms
under a blanket of stars
the kisses that never seemed they'd ever end
the touches so full of desire that they burned the skin
and let's not forget the nights we stayed up until dawn
just to see the beauty of the rising sun;
but all these things are one lovers unfulfilled fantasies;
unrequited love and imaginary memories
never to be
never to be
