Ether Bisque (the reading)
Saturday, September 23, 2017 - 7:00 PM
Readings from Steven B. Smith, Julie Ursem Marchand, Charles Cicirella, and Joni Soule, the authors of “Ether Bisque.” An open-mic will follow.
Steven B. Smith was born in the Bitterroot Mountains and raised on Paradise Prairie. He is a poet, artist, publisher of “Artcrimes,” and author of “Stations of the Lost & Found: A True Tale of Armed Robbery, Stolen Cars, Outsider Art, Mutant Poetry, Underground Publishing, Robbing the Cradle, and Leaving the Country” with Lady K.
When Julie Ursem Marchand is not protecting her printer from a precocious little wiener dog in Elyria, Ohio, she can be found sharing her love of reading and helping patrons use the emedia collection at her local public library. Her poetry has been published in Writing Knights Press’ “The Squire: Grand Tournament III ” and “The Squire: Page-a-Day Poetry Anthology 2015.”
Charles Cicirella currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio. His poetry has appeared in “Terminal Books Poetry & Prose,” “Red Fez,” “Thirteen Myna Birds,” “cryopoetry,” “The Piker Press,” “Oddball Magazine,” and the “Hessler Street Fair Poetry Anthology.” In addition to poetry, he has written for bobdylan.com. He also hosts an online radio show called “Radio Ether.”
Joni Soule was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised by feral cats. Joni has been painting for over twenty five years and is also an accomplished singer-songwriter. She now makes Austin, Texas her home. She considers Vincent van Gogh a personal hero and spirit guide. (Joni will either be joining us by way of webcam, or her work will be read by the other poets. We’re still figuring this out.)
